Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator in Minnesota to efficiently sort, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight on a busy dock. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks and secure freight inside trailers.

This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety policies. You will use mobile handheld devices to scan shipments, work a night shift, and enjoy benefits such as health insurance from day one, paid time off, and a company 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Dock/warehouse experience in transportation industry.
• Forklift experience in a freight or LTL environment.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Strong attention to detail and desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
