Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator in Fridley, MN to move palletized and non-palletized freight on a busy dock. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, load and unload trailers, and help secure cargo while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic math skills, with or without calculator.
• Available for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
• Preferred: dock or warehouse experience.
• Preferred: forklift experience in freight/LTL.
• Experience loading/unloading trailers.
• Strong attention to detail and motivation to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely according to company safety policies.
• Scan and track shipments with handheld devices.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
