Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to support daily dock operations at our facility. You will efficiently sort, load and unload freight, operate pallet jack and forklift, secure cargo inside trailers, and scan shipments using handheld devices. This role requires attention to safety and ability to work in a non climate-controlled dock environment.

Pay ranges from $22.85 to $28.10 per hour with day shifts and benefits for 30+ hours weekly. Exempt from certain federal rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
