Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. The role involves efficiently sorting, handling, loading and unloading palletized and non-palletized freight on a dock. You will operate forklift and pallet jack, secure cargo inside trailers, and use mobile devices to track shipments.

The position may require working on a non-climate-controlled dock and varied shifts. Pay starts at $22.85/hour with night shifts available and comprehensive benefits for those scheduled to work 30 hours or more

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment (pallet jack, forklift).
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and in line with safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
