Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator in Minnesota to efficiently move freight on a dock, loading and unloading pallets and non-palletized goods. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure freight is secured inside trailers for transport.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to work non-climate-controlled environments, and comfort using handheld scanners to track shipments. Night shifts are part of this position, with benefits available for eligible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math with and without a calculator.
• Available to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
• Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move and position pallets
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
• Work safely and in compliance with company safety policies
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments
• Work on a dock that may be non-climate-controlled for extended periods
