Job summary

Performance Food Group, a leading distributor in foodservice, is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator, Non Formula, in Lee’s Summit, MO. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inbound freight to inventory, stock pick slots, and ensure accurate location data while maintaining GMP and safety standards.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, 6+ months warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and comfort working in multi-temperature environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10-35 pounds and generally up to 60-90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Rotates stock, replenishes pick slots, and ensures date-sensitive items are managed properly.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots and removes waste.
• Inspects pallets for damage and moves them using pallet jack or forklift.
• Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs general housekeeping and completes paperwork at end of shift.
