Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC seeks a Forklift Operator with LTL experience in Groveport, OH. Shift is 3rd with 4/10s, Wed-Sat 7pm-5:30am, and includes benefits from Day 1. Eligible candidates must be forklift certified, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to lift 50+ pounds.

Weekend OT may be required. RF scan gun experience preferred. Responsibilities include moving products in the warehouse using various MHE, loading/unloading trucks, and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Must be Forklift Certified.
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well.
• Must have the ability to lift 50+lbs. unassisted.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 year experience.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks
• Material handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products and other like duties
• Must ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately
• Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS& D)
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
• Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned.
