Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move products through our Ohio facilities. The role involves pulling routes, staging freight, and assisting drivers with loading and unloading trucks using forklift and pallet jacks.

You will perform picking, packing, scanning, and related duties, ensuring accuracy, safety, and on-time completion in a fast-paced environment. English literacy and ability to lift 50+ lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be Forklift Certified.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Previous forklift certifications preferred.
• Overtime and occasional weekend work.
• Read and comprehend work instructions well.
• Ability to work with others with little supervision.
• Must lift 50+ lbs and be English literate.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers to load and unload trucks.
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products and other duties.
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and system work is completed accurately.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment including TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

8:00 AM– 6:30 PM, 4 x10 shift Wed-Sat (1st shift)

Summary

Role focuses on movement of products throughout the warehouse using various types of Material Handling equipment. The role requires the skills and experience to operate/drive manual handling equipment in accordance with local legislation. These roles will mostly require an externally accredited qualification/licence.

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Employees must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts. The role requires employees to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects above their head.

Pay Range

$21.00 per hour.
