Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC in Groveport, OH is seeking a Forklift Operator to move products throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks and related equipment. This full-time role requires safety-conscious work, accurate packing and loading, and the ability to read instructions in English.

Candidates should have a forklift certification, a high school diploma, RF scanner experience, and availability for overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and apply banding/shrink wrap.
• RF scan gun experience required.
• Overtime and occasional weekend work may be needed.
• Able to read and comprehend work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate/drive forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers with loading/unloading trucks.
• Perform picking, packing, scanning, and related duties as assigned.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Maintain timeliness and accuracy of packaging and systems work.
• Follow TSA and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
