Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator for 2nd shift. You will load and unload trucks, stage freight, and assist drivers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scan guns. Prior forklift certification is a plus and overtime work may be required.

Candidates must lift 50+ lbs, read instructions well, and work cooperatively in a fast-paced warehouse. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to TSA/OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap material.
• Experience using an RF scan gun is required.
• Previous forklift certifications preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Must be able to work well with others with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers in loading and unloading trucks.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
