Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle division is seeking a forklift operator to handle material moves in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will read specs, position loads, transport pallets, and assist with inventory control while following safety policies.

This role requires a high school diploma, the ability to pass internal certification, and readiness to work a flexible schedule. Fluency in Spanish preferred; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and operate in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Pass internal certification program.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
• Position forks, lifting platform, or other devices for pallets and materials.
• Hook tow trucks to trailer hitch and transport loads.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Inventory materials and supply necessary items to workers.
• Perform routine maintenance including recharging batteries and cleaning.
• Record weights on tags or schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
