Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock operations. You will efficiently sort, lift, and move freight using pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring safe handling and accurate scanning of shipments on a non-climate-controlled dock.

Eligible applicants must be at least 18, able to perform basic math, and available for varied shifts including nights and weekends. This role is exempt from the Motor Carrier Act and offers incremental pay progression.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift to move goods.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and adhere to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
