Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You will efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts.

This role requires 18+ years of age, basic math skills, and the ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. The position is on a dock in a non-climate-controlled environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
