Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to Join our on-site team on the time-sensitive dock at our facilities. You will sort, handle, and load freight using pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring secure trailer loads and accurate shipment scanning.

The role requires 18+ years old with basic math ability and the flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends. Prior forklift/dock experience and strong attention to detail are preferred, with competitive benefits for 30+ hours/week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Able to work varying shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Experience with forklift and dock/warehouse operations preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift to move freight safely.
• Secure freight inside trailers using proper tools.
• Follow safety policies and work on a non-climate controlled dock.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
