Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join its dock operations. You will efficiently sort, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight, using forklift and pallet jack, while securing cargo and following safety policies.

You’ll scan shipments with handheld devices and work on a non-climate-controlled dock, with an afternoon shift and competitive benefits for 30+ hours per week. The role requires 18+ years of age, basic math abilities, and flexibility to work varied

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations with and without a calculator.
• Available to work afternoons, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate motorized and manual equipment including forklift and pallet jack.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Maintain safety and follow company policies.
• Scan and track shipments with handheld devices.
• Work on a dock that may be not climate-controlled.
