Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to assist with sorting, loading and unloading freight on a non climate-controlled dock. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts and ensure freight is secured for transport.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and flexibility to work afternoons, with shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Available for days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload freight efficiently.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Secure freight inside trailers with appropriate tools.
• Adhere to safety policies while on dock.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
