Job summary

MS Companies is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for the Press Department during B Shift in Cullman, AL. The role is temp-to-hire with a pay rate of $18 per hour and a $150 sign-on bonus.

Work hours are 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with a strong emphasis on safety and production support. The operator will move materials, assist quality teams, and support 5S initiatives in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months forklift experience.
• Valid forklift certification/license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours.
• Strong attention to detail and safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transport raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to designated areas to support production flow.
• Assist by staging materials to appropriate locations.
• Ensure accurate tracking of part movement using scanning equipment or logs.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily and report issues or safety concerns.
• Adhere to plant safety protocols and quality standards.
• Support sorting, containment, or rework as directed by Quality Inspectors or Leads.
• Participate in 5S initiatives and keep the work area clean and organized.
