Challenge Manufacturing in Cusseta, AL is seeking a 3rd shift forklift operator to move materials, load and unload pallets, and support plant flow. You will follow safety rules, assist with inventory, and ensure timely delivery to production areas.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform duties.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous material handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Observes and complies with safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Participates in needs analysis and attends scheduled training for the position.
• Supports continuous improvement activities and independent auditing when requested.
• Stops work on processes as appropriate to contain suspect or defective material or services.
• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive the truck and control movement of lifting devices.
• Positions forks and lifting devices to move loads to designated areas.
• Unloads and stacks material and inventories materials on the work floor.
• Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags or schedules.
