Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Material Handler for a Cullman, AL location. You will operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials safely, read work orders, and support production goals.

The position is Temp-Perm with a Sunday 11pm-7am and Monday-Thursday 9pm-7am schedule. Pay starts at $18 per hour, based on experience, and benefits include weekly pay and comprehensive insurance options.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to and from storage or production areas using hand, forklift, or overhead cranes.
• Sort material before loading and unloading.
• Attach identifying tags to materials and read work orders to determine needs.
• Record quantities handled on daily production sheets or tickets.
• Install braces or padding to prevent shifting during transport.
• Guide loads being lifted to prevent swinging.
• Carry tools and supplies between storage areas and work sites.
