Job summary

The Krusteaz Company is hiring a Third Shift Production Operator for our Effingham, Illinois facility. You will support all areas of production, packaging dry food products, and operate machinery on a rotating basis. Responsibilities include data entry, quality checks, sanitation, and coordination with the prior shift.

We require a high school diploma or GED and prefer prior food processing experience. Proficiency with MS Word/Excel is expected, and lifting up to 60 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous food processing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and other MS systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and process control systems.
• Perform sanitation tasks and data entry related to production metrics.
• Maintain safety, GMP, and food safety standards.
• Coordinate with previous shift to ensure continuity of operations.
• Lift up to 60 pounds and operate forklift as needed.
• Assist with unloading and loading rail cars/bulk orders.
