Job summary

The Krusteaz Company in Effingham, IL is seeking a Second Shift Production Operator to support packaging dry food products and operate equipment on a rotating basis. You will perform data entry, maintain quality checks, and assist with unloading and trucking tasks.

Responsibilities include data collection, safety and GMP compliance, and maintaining production flow across shifts. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, flex to overtime, and pass background and safety screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; food processing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and MS systems.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work any shift; pass background/chemical screening and tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and process control systems.
• Perform sanitation tasks on a schedule.
• Coordinate with the previous shift to ensure continuity.
• Report production data related to inventory and KPIs.
• Support safety, GMP, and quality programs during shifts.
