Job summary

The Krusteaz Company in Effingham, IL is seeking a Second Shift Production Operator to support all packaging and processing tasks for dry food products. You will operate equipment, perform data entry, and ensure product quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include data collection, inventory KPI reporting, sanitation, and collaboration with the prior shift for seamless production. Must lift up to 60 lbs and be flexible for shift changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food processing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Support all areas of production involved with packaging dry food products according to specs.
• Operate packaging equipment and process control systems; perform sanitation tasks.
• Recordkeeping, data entry, inventory KPI data and other required information.
• Coordinate with previous shift to ensure continuity of production.
• Carry out quality checks on ingredients and finished product.
• Lift, stack, weigh, wrap, and transfer product as needed.
• Follow GMP food safety standards and safety protocols.
• Provide training to teammates as needed.
