Job summary

Masterson Foods in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Packaging Specialist for 1st shift. You will set up, adjust, and operate vertical form, fill and seal packaging equipment and ensure product quality meets production requirements.

Responsibilities include changeovers, cleaning, sanitation, performing quality checks (weights, temperature), recording production data, and troubleshooting equipment while following GMP, safety and standardized work procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED/HSED) is required.
• Experience in a production environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, change over, operate, monitor and adjust packaging equipment to meet quality specs.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize equipment and perform safety procedures during changeovers.
• Conduct quality checks and document production data and test results.
• Prepare reports including process control charts and production records.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Follow GMP, safety, and standardized work procedures.
