Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Process Operator to join our Nottingham, PA facility. This full-time role operates potato chip fryers, dough mixers and snack processing equipment on a 11pm–7am schedule, Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed.

You will set up, change over, clean parts, monitor levels, and record production data in the ERP system while coordinating with teams to ensure timely material replenishment and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing or processing environment preferred.
• Must complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate potato chip fryers, dough mixers, and snack food processing equipment.
• Change over and set up of mixing, cooking, and processing equipment.
• Clean machine parts after changeovers and monitor tank levels and ovens.
• Record daily production data, batch counts, and material usage in the ERP system.
• Maintain Urschel slicer heads to ensure quality slices.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into ERP and track status in real time.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
