Job summary

Morgan Steel is seeking an experienced Night Shift Superintendent/Foreman to oversee all night-time manufacturing and warehouse operations in Memphis, TN. This leadership role coordinates multiple departments to meet production schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The position requires directing supervisors and hourly staff, solving production issues, and ensuring optimal equipment utilization and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising multiple departments simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication or metal manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading teams of 50+ employees preferred.
• Ability to read production schedules, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead all night shift manufacturing, fabrication, machining, warehouse, and shipping operations.
• Direct daily activities of supervisors, leads, and hourly employees across multiple departments.
• Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.
• Monitor labor utilization and adjust staffing based on production demands.
• Promote and enforce safety policies, OSHA regulations, and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize downtime and prioritize equipment repairs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through coordination with Inventory Control and Shipping departments.
