Job summary

The Floor Care Technician at Sizemore, Inc. will maintain floor surfaces across our client facilities, including stripping, waxing, buffing and carpet care.

You will operate floor care machines, follow safety rules, and work with a team to deliver clean, well-maintained spaces. This role supports the Building Maintenance team with reliable scheduling, accurate time reporting, and a proactive approach to quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Experience in cleaning or janitorial work is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor surfaces including stripping, waxing, buffing and carpet care.
• Operate floor care machines safely and according to manufacturer instructions.
• Report time worked accurately and follow schedule and safety policies.
• Assist with other cleaning tasks and support team as needed.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians when trained.
• Maintain organized storage and ensure supplies are stocked.
