Job summary

Sizemore Co. is seeking a Floor Care Technician to perform floor maintenance across facilities, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet care. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork as part of the Building Maintenance team.

Responsibilities include operating floor care equipment, completing tasks on schedule, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement and quality cleaning services for our clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with cleaning preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural environment.
• Capable of teamwork and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors (hard surfaces) by mopping, scrubbing, and buffing.
• Perform carpet maintenance including vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting.
• Provide additional cleaning tasks such as dusting and restroom cleaning.
• Operate floor care machines safely and following manufacturer instructions.
• Follow safety procedures and report any equipment issues to supervisor.
• Communicate with customers and store personnel respectfully, and report time worked accurately.
