Job summary

The Floor Care Technician at Sizemore, Inc. in Pleasant Prairie, WI will maintain hard surfaces and carpets, operate floor care machines, and apply waxing, stripping, buffing, shampooing, and extraction as needed, under limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, teamwork and punctuality are essential.
• Comfortable working in a multi-ethnic environment and maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard floor surfaces, including mopping, scrubbing and buffing.
• Perform carpet maintenance: vacuuming, shampooing and extraction.
• Provide cleaning services to restrooms and other areas as needed.
• Operate floor care machines safely and follow manufacturer instructions.
• Report equipment issues and ensure supplies and safety signs are available.
