Sizemore, Inc. is hiring a Floor Care Technician to maintain hard surfaces and carpet at client sites in Plymouth, MN under limited supervision.

You will operate floor care equipment, follow safety rules, and support the Building Maintenance team while upholding Sizemore’s values of flexibility, reliability and teamwork. The role emphasizes thorough cleaning, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with occasional night or early morning shifts.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or recipient of GED.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple instructions.
• Ability to engage in respectful communications with coworkers, customers and store personnel.
• Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve superior results.

Responsibilities

• Handles hard floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), scrubbing, and buffing on hard surfaces.
• Provides carpet maintenance, including but not limited to vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets.
• Provides other cleaning services, such as dusting, routine restroom and other area cleaning.
• Operates all floor care machines and cleaning products safely and in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
• Follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times.
• Reports to work as scheduled and on time, and accurately reports time worked through the phone timekeeping systems.
• Interacts respectfully with customers and personnel.
• Provides guidance on floor care and cleaning procedures to less-experienced Floor Care Technicians as needed.
