Job summary

Sizemore Co in East Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain hard surfaces and carpets across commercial locations. You will operate floor care equipment, follow safety procedures, and support the Building Maintenance team under limited supervision.

This role offers a weekly pay cycle at $16 per hour, a 40.25 hour workweek, and opportunities for growth. Shifts run 9:30 PM to 3:15 AM, seven days a week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow simple instructions.
• Able to communicate respectfully with coworkers, customers and staff.
• Able to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment.
• Able to work well in a team to achieve results.
• Able to manage time effectively to complete tasks as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Handles floor care on hard surfaces including mopping, scrubbing and buffing.
• Maintains carpets via vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extraction.
• Performs cleaning tasks such as restroom and general area cleaning.
• Operates floor care machines safely per manufacturer instructions.
• Follows safety procedures at all times.
• Reports to work on time and logs hours accurately.
