Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. in Shoreview, MN is hiring a Floor Care Technician to maintain hard floors and carpets, using stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, and extraction. You’ll operate floor care equipment, follow safety procedures, and support the Building Maintenance team to ensure clean, safe spaces.

The role offers a stable night shift schedule (Fridays and Saturdays, 8:00 PM–4:30 AM) with a $16.00/hour pay rate and weekly pay. E-Verify participation is required for employment eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or recipient of GED.
• Some cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to engage in respectful communications with coworkers, customers and store personnel.
• Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve superior results.
• Ability to effectively manage time to accomplish the necessary tasks in the time allotted.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Handles hard floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), scrubbing, and buffing on hard surfaces.
• Provides carpet maintenance, including but not limited to vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets.
• Provides other cleaning services, such as dusting, routine restroom and other area cleaning.
• Operates all floor care machines and cleaning products safely and in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
• Follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times.
• Reports to work as scheduled and on time, and accurately reports time worked through the phone timekeeping systems.
• Interacts respectfully with customers and personnel.
• Checks that all equipment is in working order and that all necessary materials and equipment are available, including safety signs, tapes, and cones, and immediately informs supervisor of any equipment problems or shortages.
• Follows instructions on specific cleaning projects completed each shift.
• Reports all work-related injuries to supervisor on the date of occurrence.
