Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Night Shift Float Pool RN to provide care across multiple inpatient units, leveraging Med/Surg and Telemetry expertise. The role offers self-scheduling, flexibility, and opportunities to cross-train in ICU and ED while working within a strong night shift team at a Magnet-recognized hospital.

Qualified RNs bring 2+ years of acute care experience; BSN preferred, ADN accepted if enrolled in BSN program, with a 5-day training commitment in the first week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute care Med/Surg RN experience.
• Ability to thrive in a flexible float environment.
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted if enrolled in BSN program.
• Initial 5-day full‑time training commitment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment and educates patients on home care needs and medications.
• Participates in safety, quality and regulatory activities; supports professional development.
• Develops and documents plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and family.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs and communicates care across the continuum.
