Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NYSNA float pool. RNs assigned to the float pool float to units across the organization based on need and competencies, maintaining nursing standards per ANA and Montefiore policy.

The RN will embody the mission and lead performance improvement activities while delivering safe, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include leading an interdisciplinary care plan, ensuring documentation, mentoring staff, guiding discharge

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates leadership in coordinating and delivering patient care.
• Coordinates an interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Ensures a documented plan of care for all assigned patients.
• Ensures completion of patient care assignments 100% of the time.
• Establishes therapeutic relationships with patient/family.
• Assists with charge nurse responsibilities and mentorship of associates.
• Assesses and documents patient responses to care, and teaches before discharge.
• Participates in daily IDT rounds to provide direction to care teams.
