Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging in York is seeking a Press Shift Supervisor for our 12-hour night shift (6pm–6am) on a 2/2/3 rotation to lead a fast-paced manufacturing team. The role oversees production across departments, prioritizing safety, quality, productivity, and staff development.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of supervisory experience in packaging/manufacturing, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with data reporting and ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Experience managing production data, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience with timekeeping and attendance systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all activities of the personnel on the night shift.
• Communicate production expectations and measure team performance.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping goals are met.
• Promote a safe work environment with policy adherence and training.
• Maintain production reporting accuracy and documentation.
• Support scheduling and ensure materials flow for the shift.
• Manage staffing, overtime, and vacation coverage.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and personnel development.
• Conduct employee evaluations and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
