Job summary

ASML US is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide onsite installation, maintenance, and repair of Cymer Light Source equipment in Hillsboro, OR. You will diagnose issues, perform upgrades, and train customer staff as needed.

The role requires 3+ years in field service with optics/laser experience and strong customer communication. Occasional travel is expected; night shifts or compressed weeks may apply per site needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of field service engineering experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in optics, laser, and/or semiconductor manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Laser and vacuum experience preferred.
• Experience installing or significantly contributing to installations at multiple sites.
• Ability to read and interpret opto-mechanical and electronic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, diagnoses, and troubleshoots Cymer equipment problems at customer sites.
• Performs installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades and preventive maintenance on Cymer equipment.
• Maintains an installation equipment base and communicates with customers regularly.
• Travels to customer sites for service activities and backfills as needed.
• Completes service reports and uses technical documentation to improve processes.
