Job summary

ASML in the United States (Eagan, MN) seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and optimize complex semiconductor equipment on-site. You will analyze data, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and train customer staff to ensure high system performance.

The role requires a BS in engineering or equivalent experience and 2+ years in semiconductor/high-tech environments. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years in semiconductor or high-tech equipment industry.
• Experience with data analysis tools and standard business software.
• Familiarity with electromechanical systems, diagnostics, and maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment issues by gathering and interpreting diagnostic data.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced systems.
• Plan service activities, including tools, parts, and customer scheduling.
• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Document service activities and ensure clear handoff to support teams.
• Train customer staff on system use, maintenance, and best practices.
• Share knowledge and support the development of less experienced engineers.
