Job summary

ASML Holding in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a Field Service Engineer for night shift within the Cymer Light Source division. You will install, repair, and maintain Cymer equipment at customer sites, troubleshoot complex systems, and train customer staff as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of field service engineering experience required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in optics, laser, and/or semiconductor manufacturing equipment experience is preferred.
Laser and vacuum experience preferred.
Ability to read and analyze schematics.

Responsibilities

Analyzes, diagnoses, and troubleshoots Cymer equipment problems via telephone or at customer site.
Performs installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades and preventive maintenance on Cymer equipment installed at customer sites.
Maintains an assigned installation equipment base and provides primary support, forecasting, and customer communication.
Assists customers in the receipt, installation, and testing of company equipment.
Conducts equipment troubleshooting, analysis, and debugging for installation or operating activities.
Provides service education to customer’s staff when needed.
Ensures parts are available and as specified for service requirements.
Maintains tools on hand as required.
Travels for service activities at customer sites or to backfill for other engineers.
