Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville Beach is seeking a Facilities Technician for the night shift to ensure safe and efficient operation of hospital facilities. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and medical equipment, while documenting readings and coordinating with the team.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing to support hospital buildings.
• Performs preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Takes readings and keeps records.
• Responds to customer complaints.
• Performs corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Completes work orders and adheres to applicable codes.
• Maintains complex equipment such as pumps, compressors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
