Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Facilities Technician for the Plant Facilities Department on the Beaches campus. This full-time, 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) role performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep hospital facilities safe and functional.

You will handle electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks, document readings, and ensure preventive maintenance is completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• High school diploma; associate degree preferred; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing for healthcare buildings.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as scheduled.
• Take readings and maintain records; respond to customer complaints.
• Complete work orders and ensure compliance with codes.
• Service complex equipment such as pumps, compressors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
