Baptist Health (Jacksonville) is seeking a Facilities Technician for the Night Shift to support the Plant Facilities Department at our Beaches location. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing systems and hospital equipment.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a collaborative approach to ensure a safe, reliable environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• General maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing systems.
• Completion of work orders and record-keeping.
• Willingness to learn hospital-specific equipment and processes.

Responsabilités

• Maintain HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems to support healthcare facilities.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Respond to customer complaints and service requests.
• Read, document, and update maintenance records and logs.
• Inspect and service pumps, compressors, hydraulics and other hospital equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems, and medical equipment to meet regulatory standards. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively to support a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.Shift: Monday - Friday 11:00pm - 7:30amAs a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for:General maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing required to support healthcare buildings.Performs preventative maintenance as assigned.Takes reading and keep records.
