Job summary

Baptist Health seeks a Facilities Technician for the Plant Facilities Department at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. The role supports safe operation of hospital facilities with focus on electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems.

Shift is 2nd: 3:00pm–11:30pm. Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance, readings, documentation, and timely response to patient and staff needs. Driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• General maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Education: High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to support hospital facilities.
• Performs preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Takes readings and keeps records.
• Responds to customer complaints and issues.
• Performs corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Completes scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable codes and completes work orders.
