Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Facilities Representative to support the safe, efficient operation of our distribution center in Ruther Glen, VA. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs on facility infrastructure and automated material handling equipment, and maintain safe, compliant operations.

The schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 7pm-4am with potential changes based on business needs.

Qualifications

1+ year of related facilities experience.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, or technical manuals.
Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance tracking systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility infrastructure, automated equipment, and material handling systems.
Maintain and repair conveyors, A-Frames, printers, strappers, compressors, and other equipment to maximize uptime.
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and work orders.
Diagnose equipment issues, implement corrective actions, and support facility improvement projects.
Follow safety procedures (LOTO) and maintain regulatory compliance.
Maintain maintenance records, coordinate with vendors, and respond to emergencies.
