Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Facilities Representative to support the safe, efficient operation of our distribution center in Ruther Glen, VA. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on facility infrastructure and automated material handling equipment.

The role involves a Sunday-Thursday, 7pm-4am schedule, with potential overtime and after-hours responses. You will help keep critical systems running safely, ensuring compliance and documenting activities in

Qualifications

Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, or technical manuals.
Basic computer skills and experience using maintenance tracking systems or CMMS.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility infrastructure, automated equipment, and material handling systems.
Maintain and repair conveyors, A-Frames, printers, strappers, compressors, and other operational equipment to maximize uptime.
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and work orders to support safe and efficient operations.
Diagnose equipment issues, implement corrective actions, and support facility improvement projects.
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, coordinate with vendors when needed, and respond to facility or equipment emergencies.
