Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Facilities Representative to support the safe, efficient operation of our distribution center in Ruther Glen, VA. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and inspect facility infrastructure and automated material handling equipment.

The role requires 1+ years of related experience, reading schematics, and comfortable using CMMS systems. You will work Sunday-Thursday, 7pm-4am, and contribute to a safe, compliant, and reliable

Qualifications

• Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, or technical manuals.
• Basic computer skills and experience using maintenance tracking systems or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility infrastructure, automated equipment, and material handling systems.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, A-Frames, printers, strappers, compressors, and other operational equipment to maximize uptime.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and work orders to support safe and efficient operations.
• Diagnose equipment issues, implement corrective actions, and support facility improvement projects.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, coordinate with vendors when needed, and respond to facility or equipment emergencies.
