Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Extrusion Operator to visually inspect extruded products for consistency and length according to defined standards. The role involves maintaining paperwork, performing online quality inspections, and ensuring packaging and labeling accuracy.

The position requires reading a tape measure, basic math, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts. No prior experience required, manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Related machine operation experience.
• Stand for 12-hour shifts and bend and lift.
• Basic Math skills.
• Ability to read English and quality test product.
• Read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently and in a team to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Extrusion operators visually inspect extruded product for consistency and length according to defined standards.
• Maintain paperwork as required.
• Perform online quality inspections.
• Ensure product consistency and standards including packing patterns and labels.
