Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills with patients, staff and visitors.
• Ability to read and understand safety data sheets and cleaning chemical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks: dusting, mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing.
• Empty hampers, trash, and medical waste containers.
• Restock supplies: tissue, towels, soap, etc. in assigned areas.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report repairs.
• May perform special cleaning projects (windows, walls, etc.).
• Respond to patient, staff and visitor requests; support patient comfort.
• Work in assigned facility area with regular supervision.
