Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• BCLS certification is required.
• One of the listed certifications/programs or 1 year ER Tech experience is required (must complete certification/program within 12 months).
• Successful completion of a 180-day orientation period is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care based on individual needs within the scope of practice.
• Work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or Provider to ensure seamless patient care.
• Support the Emergency Department team in delivering urgent medical services.
• Contribute to a collaborative and efficient healthcare environment.

Education

Graduate from a formal Medical Assistant program

Completion of a formal Nursing education program

Completion of a formal Medical Doctor education program

1 year ER Technical experience in lieu of cert
