Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Henry Ford Medical Center - Sterling Heights. You will provide compassionate care on the night shift (4 x 10-hour shifts, 9:00 PM–7:30 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays, supporting ED/ICU patients and coordinating with the health care team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and Michigan RN licensure; BSN preferred and 1+ year ED or ICU experience is desired.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• BSN preferred; 1+ year ED or ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals.
• Maintain certifications and stay current with clinical knowledge and best practices.
