Assignment is 12 weeks, per diem with a $60.00 hourly rate, and telemetery patient care responsibilities. Requires active RN license and current certifications.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification on hire and maintained.
• ALS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS and/or ENPC within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in Telemetry.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and comply with EMTALA and abuse reporting.
