Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Temporary Internal Registry RN for the Night Shift in Emergency Services. This 12-week per diem assignment may be extended based on staffing needs.

You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and the ED, guide patient and family teaching, and communicate changes in condition with the physician. Current RN license and required certifications are needed; BSN and CEN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ALS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 60 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and the ED.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition including diagnostic results and symptoms.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and adhere to EMTALA regulations.
